Our Yardley, PA office is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) for primary responsibility in a high availability, clustered, multiple-SQL Server 2000/2005 database environment that supports mission critical applications. The DBA oversees the strategy for implementation of enterprise-wide applications, both vendor-supplied and locally developed systems, as they relate to the SQL Server database environment.
Requirements:
BA/BS in Co/MIS/IS or equivalent credentials in a technical discipline 5+ years experience as a DBA with Microsoft SQL Server;SQL server 2005 a plus; Oracle a plus Experience supporting 24x7 environments. Knowledge of IVR systems a plus. Microsoft MCDBA certification Extensive experience with performance management tools and reporting A solid knowledge of physical database design and data modeling Experience in a distributed transactional database environment (MSDTC) Significant T-SQL and stored procedure/development expertise Experience with transactional applications / OLTP and Exposure to EAV / Pivot table database design Strong consultation and mentoring ability Normal Business Hours based on a nine-hour workday; availability to provide coverage beyond regular business hours.
